These terms govern your use of Jämna ("the service"), a personal bill-splitting
application hosted at jamna.myhrmans.com. By creating an account you accept
these terms.
Jämna lets you record shared expenses, split them between friends, and calculate balances. The service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind.
You sign in with your email address (via a one-time magic-link sent to it) or with Sign in with Google / Apple. You are responsible for the security of the email account or social account you use. If you lose access to it, we may be unable to recover your Jämna account.
You must be at least 16 years old to use Jämna. By creating an account you confirm that you are.
You agree not to:
Jämna is a record-keeping tool. It tracks who paid for what and suggests settlements, but it does not move money. Actual payments happen between you and your friends (for example via Swish). You are responsible for confirming that any settlement is actually paid before marking it as settled.
Bank connection is a planned feature and is not currently enabled. If it becomes available, bank access will be provided by EnableBanking AB under their PSD2 AISP licence, and these terms will be updated before you can use it.
You can delete your account at any time from Account → Delete account in the app, or at jamna.myhrmans.com/account/delete. Deletion permanently removes your personal data (name, email, phone, profile photo, sign-in methods, friendships, and push-notification tokens). Expenses and settlements you shared with other members remain in their groups, anonymised as “Deleted user”, because they form part of those members' own records.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to disputes between users over recorded expenses or settlements.
These terms may change over time. The "last updated" date above reflects the current version. Continued use of the service after a change constitutes acceptance.
These terms are governed by Swedish law. Disputes are settled in the competent courts of Sweden.
